Syria 2020 - summary of our projects

Fuad Haddad is another person whose youth has been taken away by the war in Syria. He was wounded many times since 2011 and he lost his brother 8 months ago. Since then, the family has been in mourning. Trying to make a new life for himself, he decided to return to the profession of a hairdresser. We helped him to equip his new workpalce. May he be successful! 
Although we did not manage to visit Syria last year, our projects developed with the support of Franciscan partners from Terre Sainte and the Latin Parish in Aleppo. Support for Fuad was the 4th project implemented in 2020 as part of "Give a Job!" in Aleppo. Beside „Give a Job!” we managed to do a lot: we supported the Franciscan Care Center in Terre Sainte, the Dr. Binan’s Center and together with our friends from Caritas Łódź, we launched "The First Step" program, which provides scholarships for 178 kids! In 2020 for those projects we donated approximately 7,700 USD and 14,500 EUR
