Restoration works in Beirut in 2024 - summary

2024 was a difficult year. In the first half of it, we discovered that there were still places that were destroyed 4 years ago in the in the blast in the port, and have not received any support so far. We reached Ghada's family and Dr. Samer, whose dental office was completely destroyed after the wave hit. The office is hidden among the beautiful, renovated buildings of Aschrafiyeh. We got to work, deciding to support 4 places for the 4th anniversary of the explosion.

This work was accompanied by a treats of war. We felt that the inevitable was coming. The horror of the following months is indescribable, the dramas we encountered are difficult to describe. However, this was accompanied by the courage and love of the members of our local team passed on to others, expressed in various forms of support, both material and spiritual.

After the ceasefire, we were among the first to get to work, helping in 17 apartments in Chiyeh, Ain el Remmaneh and Hadath until the end of February 2024. The work is ongoing, and behind each story there is a Human, a Person.
