The last two years have helped us fully define our Mission in Lebanon and Syria. Previously, our joint activities with Caritas of the Archdiocese of Łódź were focused on Beirut and Aleppo, but recently these two locations have become a window onto Christian villages in Lebanon and Syria. From Beirut, we traveled to southern Lebanon, to Nabatieh, Kfour, and Homsiyeh, and from Aleppo to the villages of Idleeb, Knayeh, and Jaqubiyeh. This is how the following projects were created:

We not only touched upon the roots of migration but also understood its essence and causes. All this through contact with Christians remaining in their native places and accompanying them. We also found parallels between the situation of Christians in Lebanon and Syria, the difficulties they face, and the existential question of whether to stay or migrate.

Christian migration in Lebanon and Syria is gradual: it begins from the countryside to the city, and then from the city to the border. We are trying to stop this process, and now we even have the opportunity to reverse it, as we are doing with helping families returning from various cities and regions of Syria to their villages in Idleeb.

Therefore, we are combining all our projects under "Solidarity with..." into a single campaign called "Return Home." The main focus of our activities will be the continuation of aid projects:

Restoration works
"Give a Job!"
Emergency aid including food packages, medical support, "Light For" and "Warmth For"
"First/Second Step"
Other cultural and educational projects, including those conducted by YBTE - Young Team Of Domus Orientalis
