"Solidarity With Beirut" - projects in 2024

2024 was another year of our hard work in Lebanon. As before, this one was unfortunately marked by tragic events. This time, in the fall, a brutal war escalated, which lasted almost 3 months. We say “escalated” because the war operations in the South had been ongoing since October 2023.
Hence, part of our activities, both in the field of reconstruction, emergency aid and psychological support provided by our YBTE Young Team, had to be redirected to help the victims of war.
The light prevails, and our beautiful Team in Lebanon, despite the circumstances, continued to provide help to those in need.
The summary presents the activities carried out in the period February 2024-February 2025. During this time, we managed to:
• renovate 16 apartments damaged during the war;
• help in 2 places that did not receive support after the explosion in the port;
• carry out work in 2 other places;
• organize the distribution of funds for 120 families affected by the war and 2 sessions of workshops for treating war trauma for children;
• carry out other types of support in the field of emergency aid;
• continue the "Warmth For" project;
• continue YBTE projects, such as "(Young) Gardens of Lebanon", "Book Corner" and "First Step".
