War in Lebanon

For us, this war did not end with the ceasefire in December 2024. The South was still torn by irregular military operations, drones flew over Beirut, and several missile attacks occurred.

Recently, the war has returned in all its cruelest form – as in 2024, crowds of refugees, fighting and airstrikes in the South, attacks on Beirut and other cities.

On March 5, there was a mass evacuation of Dahiye – a suburb of Beirut that, according to various estimates, is home to between several hundred thousand and a million people – mainly Lebanese Shiites, but also Palestinians, Syrians, migrants from Africa and Asia, and Christians.

Almost all of "our" Christian families have fled the South, and "our" school in Nabatieh has been closed again.

We must help these people, and we need resources to do so!

The entire history of our assistance to war victims since 2023 is recorded here: War in Lebanon. Now this story comes full circle, and we are once again entering the first phase of aid, "emergency"/"sheltering." Then it will be time for the next phase... just like two years ago.
