"Warmth For" - about the project

"Warmth For" is a project that we started together with "Caritas Archdiocese of Łódź" in February 2022. At that time, we helped families in Aleppo buy diesel (74 families) and pay for generator usage costs (389) for nearly $ 10,000.

In 2023, we decided to try to revive the project and send aid not only to Syria but also to Lebanon and Ukraine.

Among other things, we managed to:

• support nearly 40 lebanese families (including 30 from the South) in buying wood, heating oil, paying for a generator or changing heating installations, including nearly 30 from South Lebanon;
• support 11 families in the village of Partyzanckie in Ukraine in buying wood and repairing 2 roofs before the coming winter;
• support families in Aleppo with small amounts.

All this for nearly $13,200 and PLN 9,500.

Another winter is coming, so "Warmth for" is becoming a priority project again. The main direction will be to support the Lebanese, due to the catastrophic destruction, housing problems and the deepening financial crisis. We will also not forget about Syria and Ukraine!
