"You Can Sing It" - about the project

You Can Sing It!


Domus Orientalis is a meeting place. A place that is supposed to connect and build the bridges between Poland and other places. One of the projects aimed at achieving this basic goal is called "You Can Sing It!"

The initial idea was to encourage foreigners living in Poland to participate in the song competition. The participants went through a casting, which selected a group of finalists, and then took part in workshops conducted by professionals. Then came the grand finale, during which the participants sang one song in Polish and another in their native or chosen language.

After four editions organized in Poland, in 2021 the time has come for the debut of "YCSI" abroad, specifically in Tunisia. A year later, Tunisia hosted the competition again, and in 2023 "YCSI" would be back to Poland.
